Wing Chun Home Study Course

General Proceedure:

1. Participants buy instructional videos for the level that they want to study (those who want to take level II and III must prove that they have enough knowledge and techniques of the previous level).
2. Participants study videos.
3. Participants make a 45 minute (maximum) video of themselves as an assignment showing how much they have learned from the tapes.
4. Master Yip will view the video and point out what the participant needs to improve. Master Yip will grade the assignment.
5. Those who are taking levels II and III must send an assignment video to Master Yip and come to New York City to take private lessons. Master Yip will test their chi-sau to decide whether they can promote to a higher level.
6. Those who pass an assignment will get a certificate of their level.
7. Senior level participants will get a completion certificate of the Home Study Course.
8. Only those who earn a completion certificate can join the Instructor Training Course for instructor certification.

I. Elementary Level

1. Participants buy D-1, D-2, D-3 & D4
2. Assignment video shows
       1) basic techniques from D-1 & D-2
       2) SNT form
3. Tutition fee: $250

1. Participants buy D-5, D-6, D-7, D-8 & D-9
2. Assignment video shows
       1) CK form
       2) BT form
       1) WD form
3. Tutition fee: $300
4. Participants need to come to New York City to take at least 4 hours of private lessons from Master Yip.

1. Participants buy D-10, D-11 & D-12
2. Assignment video shows
       1) LDBK form
       2) BCD form and Wing Chun kicks
3. Tutition fee: $350
4. Participants need to come to New York City to take at least 2 hours of private lessons from Master Yip.
